The Summerville Artist Guild, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to stimulating interest, developing artistic
ability and education.

The Guild hosts several member organized groups that follow the Guild's Mission.
We encourage you to visit one or all of our Groups or contact a Group Coordinator for more information.

Driving Directions:

Our regular meetings are held at
Stallsville Methodist Church
located at
255 Stallsville Rd. in Summerville —
just off of Old Trolley Road
near the Dorchester County Library.

From downtown Summerville,
take Trolley Road south.
Turn right onto Stallsville Road
which is the first stoplight after the
Dorchester/Summerville Library and Applebee's.
The church is about 1/4 mile down on the left
with a white steeple.

Turn left just before the church
and enter into the side parking lot.

Enter the double doors on the left and proceed to
the
Fellowship Hall straight ahead and to the right.
Summerville, South Carolina
Due to Covid-19 all function dates and locations are pron to change.
Please check back prior to attending any event.

Mark your calendars: Change of Location: Our first Summerville Artist Guild Member’s
Meeting
for the fall is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Knightsville United Methodist
Church.
The address is 1505 Central Ave. near the corner of Central Ave. and Orangeburg Rd. Dee Beard
Dean is scheduled to demonstrate the beauty of Oil.  Please RSVP to artist.jankelley@gmail.com  if you are
coming and bring a mask when you attend. We want to know how many chairs to set up.  We will not be
serving or accepting food for the social part of the evening but will offer water to drink.

Our old website is a .com. The governing board has voted to keep the summervilleartistguild.org website
address.  Jan Dalton has worked with Denise Jacob to transfer our summervilleartistguild.org website address
to our old website.

In case you have not heard yet, the
Summerville YMCA FlowerTown Festival 2020 has been
cancelled.
We have voted to have our funds rolled over to next year. We look forward to being part of the
Summerville FlowerTown Festival in 2021.

Change of Location: The Summerville Artist Guild 44th Annual Judged Exhibition will now
be shown at the North Charleston Park Circle Gallery in the Olde Village Community
Center.
All visitors will be required to wear either a mask or face shield for the protection of all.

As always, these events are things that would like to happen but are subject to change. Please watch for
updates! Look for the Joy of Sharing and much more later to come in this newsletter.

Hello everyone,

I am honored to be your president for the Summerville Artist Guild. I want
to say thank you to all our governing board members, past and present who
volunteer their time and efforts to make our guild the best it can be,
especially in these unusual times. A heartfelt thank you to all our members
of SAG for your continued support and patience s we work through each
new challenge.

We have an exciting year planned for our Summerville Artist Guild Family.
Our governing board is working together to find ways of reaching out to
you and sharing what we can do to make this fiscal year the best it can be.
Our meetings may be in person and/or via zoom or other means. Keep an
eye on FaceBook and our SAG website.
